 Killed in Al Khalidiyah, Iraq, where their M1A1 Abrams tank was attacked by enemy forces using small arms fire.

He enjoyed reading, swimming and running marathons.
He served a year in Kuwait with the 115th FA Wy Army National Guard then volunteered to return and was killed in his tank by a sniper.
