Northwood Community Park, Irvine, California, USA

On November 14, 2010 I had the honor of being in Irvine, California for the dedication ceremony of a memorial first of it's kind.

The Northwood Gratitude and Honor Memorial which honors all our Heroes that gave their all in Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation Enduring Freedom or Operation New Dawn.

In 2006 I helped with the building and documenting (photos) the building of the first memorial dedicated to our fallen heroes from Iraq and Afghanistan in Salem, Oregon. (Click here To View pics) but it and many that followed were build for our local heroes, the one in Salem for our heroes from Oregon.

I was real excited when I got the invite to be there for the dedication of the first memorial that has the names for all our heroes from across the USA that paid the ultimate price to preserve our freedoms serving our country. 

I have posted a few photographs I've shot while in Irvine and I thank all that made it happen.  The official website for the memorial is www.northwoodmemorial.com  .  The left column side has a list of photo links.
