From Sarah Roy 06/19/06:

Hello -

I wanted to quickly introduce myself, my name is Sarah Roy and I have been Bill's best friend for over 6 years. He was my world and his family is my second family. I don't understand why he had to die so young but I do understand freedom isn't free.

I've attached some pictures of Sgt William Meeuwsen. Although I am very thankful for the pictures on your webpage of his burial, which I was not able to attend because I had to return to work. I want people to see him as all his friends and family did...always with a smile on his face. He loved us, he loved his country, he loved his Creator, he loved every living thing....He is our Hero.

He is gone but not forgotten.

Thank you so much for caring and God Bless,
Sarah Roy
