From JoAnne King May 12,  2006:

Eric is my brother, my hero. He is a daddy of 2 beautiful girls Shealyn 8 and Ashlin 6. Ashlin is a spitting image of him. Eric loved to make people laugh and was always smiling. Ever since we were little kids he always played war. Dog foxholes in our yard and would climb through them. We cannot say goodbye to our loved ones only so long because we will see them again when the time comes. For the families who lost there loved ones with Eric I can guarantee you Eric had them laughing right up until the tragedy happened. Eric loved life and the people that were around him. I am truly blessed to have had Eric as my brother. I love you Eric you are gone but not forgotten.
