Thank you for your postings of these true American heroes.
We just heard the news this morning about Army Pvt. Byron Fouty's body being found in Iraq, along with that of Army Sgt. Alex Jimenez. It is bittersweet news for these families, but certainly can bring a relief of sorts to their hearts and minds.
We are so sorry for their loss and the loss of hope that they had kept alive since May 12, 2007.
We met Byron's step-father, Gordy Dibler, last September at a Families United for our Troops and their Mission gathering in Washington, D.C. Gordy was intent in not allowing his son's plight to be forgotten, and he has continued to this time in criss-crossing the country in Byron's behalf.
May God bless these two families as they officially grieve the deaths of their beloved sons, brothers, grandsons, nephews, friends.
