 Died on Sept. 2 in Landstuhl Regional Medical Center, Landstuhl, Germany, of injuries suffered on Aug 30 in Baghdad, Iraq, when he encountered enemy forces using small arms fire.

Eugene was not just a soldier, he was a loving caring friend, husband and father. He loved his family very much. He will be forever be in our hearts and our minds. We will love him always.
