Statement from Christopher A. Lambert - professor of military science:
I, along with my staff, and the cadets of Pittsburg State ROTC are deeply saddened by the loss of SFC Forrest Robertson. SFC Robertson was a Senior Military Instructor here at Pitt State Army ROTC from OCT 2010 to Nov 2012 and touched the lives of hundreds of young men and women, who thanks to his mentoring, are prepared to step into the world as future leaders themselves.
SFC Robertson will be remembered by us a loving husband and father, a true warrior and an outstanding NCO and leader. Just as important, he will always remain a proud member of the Gorilla Battalion.
Our thoughts are also, with his family at this time. SFC Robertson is survived by his wife, Marcie, and three daughters.
