From Rebecca (Becky) Reid 08/27/04:
Chris Taylor was an amazing man. He was an incredible man, with such kind heart. He understood that freedom was not free. He was always very patriotic and so proud to be doing what he was doing, which was serving his country. He rarely complained and remained quite positive even under those conditions. He made the most of everything and always looked to the brighter side of life. He was so willing to sacrifice time away from his family and friends, which meant everything to him, in order to better someone else's life. He felt quite honored to do so and would not have had it any other way. He was such a giving person and he gave right to the end. He made the ultimate sacrifice for something he truly believed in. He truly believed that it was for the greater good of our country and for the people of Iraq that he was over there. Chris was a good man and the best of men. |
